IMPACT UNAH 2026 | Mission Trip

August 2, 2026 — As part of the Impact UNAH 2026 missionary journey, the missionaries continued their preparations for the social and community activities planned in Fournier, in the commune of Grande-Rivière-du-Nord.

During this second day, the missionary team met from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by another working session from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. These meetings focused on the final planning and coordination of the social work that will be carried out throughout the mission. The different teams reviewed the activities, responsibilities, and practical arrangements necessary to ensure that the mission responds effectively to the needs of the local community.

In addition to the planning sessions, the missionaries also conducted visits within the area, allowing them to become more familiar with the community, meet local residents, and better understand the realities and needs of the population.

Serving the Community Through Action

Throughout Impact UNAH 2026, the missionaries are committed to making a meaningful contribution to the community of Fournier through several areas of service.

One of the major components of the mission is the training of young people. Through educational and practical training sessions, the missionaries seek to equip young people with useful knowledge and skills that can contribute to their personal development and future opportunities.

The mission will also include activities at the community health center, where members of the team will collaborate in providing support and services to the local population. These activities reflect UNAH's commitment to combining education, service, and community engagement.

Beyond training and health services, the missionaries hope to contribute to positive and lasting changes in Fournier. Through their presence, dedication, and various initiatives, they aim to serve the community while demonstrating the values of compassion, solidarity, education, and service that guide the mission of the Université Adventiste d’Haïti.

A Mission of Service and Impact

Impact UNAH 2026 represents more than a missionary journey. It is an opportunity for students, faculty members, and other participants to put their knowledge and skills at the service of others.

As the mission progresses, the different teams will continue their activities in the community, bringing together education, health, social work, and spiritual outreach to create a meaningful impact among the people of Fournier.
